I have gone into quick play battles and while learning the keyboard mouse style of play done ok  but mostly got my ass handed to me. While you're playing MWO, you can still use comms with out a mic. Trodoon & MogRuith do it all the time.  (You can also type-chat in TS3 comms )

Besides the whole point is to talk with all my friends again. I will remedy the situation this week so stay tuned! Yeah, I know what you mean about chatting and no in game stuff. What I meant was you can chat in comms - but that's something we can TALK about later.
Also, we can tell you how to tell who's on in MWO when you get to comms.
