CPU... couple small snags....
To start with the new intell fan that came in the box has these weird plastic drywall screw looking fasteners, but the mobo has standard screw holes, I figured I'd use my old fan for awhile till i find some fresh grease, just watch the temp, no big deal(the old fan actually has a bigger heat sink so I think i'd use it anyway), but I go to power up the pc with the new cpu in it, no boot, not even the bios startup... I put the old one back in, it worked, and looked at the specs..... ruh roh:

Core i3-2100t (Sandy Bridge) dual core 35W
The thing I got:
Intel Core i5-3470 Processor + Fan( 1)
Now it's the same interface, L1155 or whatever, but I dunno if my i5 3470 will work with this mobo or if I just got a lemon or if I botched the install... Will i need some sort of bios upgrade or whatnot or am i hosed... I haven't kept up with CPU stats in a long while so all the numbers and stuff don't mean much to me anymore... If we can't get this working lemme know if i need to return this thing before some type of deadline too... I hate to waste the part...
I'll fuck with the video card in the meantime...
