I have only played it a small amount, but it is already a better game than MWO. Moves more quickly. I bought in about 2 years ago and got the $90.00 pack. They just doubled my investment and gave me 6 more Gears.

It looks like a weak version of armor core

Please tell us why you think that.
I just remember it as my introduction to team based mech/big robot warfare.
I want to know why you think it is weak compared to Armoured Core ( I think that's what you meant)
How do you know this? Is this something we can try out?

I don't recall having much fun with heavy gear 2... might have to dig out my disc and see if it will reinstall, but i recall weaker training missions, not feeling connected to the story, dull missions, unsatisfying weapons. I remember pulling the trigger on an ac20 in mw3 it was nuts:BADADADDADADDDADABOOM. It feeling to twitchy or loose compared to mw, the gears didn't seem to have the personality of the mechs, they were too gundamy but weak... I had been playing mw2 for awhile when HG2 came out along side mw3, then mw4 came out the next year and i needed drive space...

Also, im not that confidant about mektek...

From the designs the mechs do look like they are going to be a look a likes from Armored Core. I saw some alpha game play on the game from youtube, all though It is alpha and not much designs on it it looks like it is just going to be arena like mechwarrior gladiator matches with big giant robots with not much story behind it. the mechs will probably move and operate like armored core mechs.

Clarification. I did not like HG2. It was basically an FPS. I did like the original with its WIDE open never ending maps.
