New P.S. in and power is back but no video out. I swapped a known good video card and still no signal.
My guess is the MOBO got fried.
Thoughts?

P.S. Yes, I reset the BIOS.

I am sure you made sure to plug the power supplies dedicated line to the vid card..

very likely the mobo took a header, damnit..

2 gauss slugs to the center mobo?

Well, bad as I hate to hear it, it looks like ASUS will be making another sale real soon...

If you have an on-board video chip take out your video card and see if that works then it might be a bad video card. But if you already tried a known good card in the PCIE slot then yeah your MOBO probably got fried when the power supply went. There are some pretty good ones out there that are not too pricy. I'm assuming that your CPU is not dead which is why it might be a good thing to try the on-board video first and if the CPU is fine then you can just get a new MOBO that supports your CPU.
