Welcome Bazz.  You need to get your internet figured out so you can join us and watch D-Day shoot into a mob a mechs and still miss them all!!!  It is a special skill that D-Day has.  And that is even with Streak SRMS!!!  :P

I am starting to get used to the new monitor.  It definitely is taking a bit of adjusting to get used to it.  For the last 10 years I have had triple screens but they have always been straight screens and I would angle it to fit on my desk. 

I am now playing MWO at night with the new monitor at 5120x1440 resolution.  No mech can sneak up on me from the side.  I can see through the edges of the cockpit windows!!!  Stealth fleas are going splat from my LBXs!!!!  :P

OMG.  It is here and I hooked it up.  It is soooooooooo big.  I am not sure how I am supposed to use it.  I ran MWO at 5120x1440 and I needed to turn it down to medium to get a solid 60fps. 

This is going to take some getting used to.  I was used to having my 3 monitors and having them angled so I could see the three screens.  Now with this screen it is a gentle curve and it is so weird.

Yes it does.  It is arriving today.  I just checked and it says it is on the FedEx truck out for delivery!!!  It also lists the weight of the box at 60 pounds!!!  :o

Which card are you using Lu?  I was hoping the pricing would be a little bit lower.  My new 49" Dell Ultrasharp monitor comes in tomorrow.  It has a resolution of 5120x1440 and I am a little worried my 580 might have a hard time pushing that many pixels at 60fps at high settings and that resolution.  I might have to either back down the settings or put the resolution down to 2560x1440 to keep everything running smooth.  Tomorrow will be an exciting day!!!  :D

Guys, I gave you the TeamSpeaker 3 server address, but for the password I was incorrect.  The IP address is correct, but there is No Password to join comms.  So jump on comms tonight and people should be online.  I will be online Tuesday night.
