We are already friends in game _Kodiak_ , what time are y'all on-ish?

Good to hear from you Kodi

Lots of faces have changed, generally 7.00p CST until we start falling asleep, you know 7.10 (we're old)
Our comms info is on this site, so look it up and join. Somebody just about every night.

Don't tell Hammy we said the same about him.....

Gregg my friend, you are finally free, time to let it shine

Greg basically died of Hep C and alcohol. He had a liver transplant some years ago, but the beast in the bottle beat him down.
Soulshine, its better than moonshine....
Should have listened to his own lyrics.
He was  a good guy overall, but he had many demons
A great performer and song writer, had that haunting hammond with a leslie

Mini's right about this.

The problem is, most of our team mates are not in the same age group (old men like me and mini and agent) so the attraction is not as strong with a few exceptions.

Many like Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones, but few liked ELP, MotorHead, original Eagles and on and on.

I have seen Bob Dylan (met him in Minn.) a few times (even tho I dont care for his nasally vocals, he is still prolific in his writings and puts on a good show.

Eric Clapton is suffering something (like Parkinson's).

Gregg Allman is having health issues (canceling part of a tour due to illness)

The list goes on.

Here's the thing - these guys dont HAVE to keep touring and creating, they do it to keep themselves alive. Its what they have chosen to do.
Bear Bryant coached for MANY years. Thats what he did. When he quit, he died within a year. Many rockers are the same, if they quit, they might move to that stage in the sky.

Look at Warren Haynes - has his own band, there's Govt Mule, Allman brothers, special guests for many others. You think he needs the cash?
Ringo is regenerating his Allstar band for a tour this year
McCartney is putting one out there as well.

None of that is to make a living, its to keep themselves going - its what they know, its what they do..

As Mini said- if you get the chance, see these guys. They are professionals. They put on a really good show and the music is almost like what you hear on radio if you listen to classic rock. They create the music, not some pre-recorded whacka whacka stuff.

I do type chat in the game D Day, but how do I find you guys? I'm in quick play all the time learning to fry mechs but I still have a ton of questions about the game. Besides the whole point is to talk with all my friends again. I will remedy the situation this week so stay tuned! Oh and Momma you still nasty and fat I'm sure unless you went on Penn Gillettes potato diet and dropped a ton o ass!

i sent you a friend invite. lower right corner of game screen, click then click alerts tab.
game will notify me you accepted, then i can invite you to the team, or a group. guys on comms can help you alot once you get on comms.
remember, training grounds and training academy will help with the basics.

basics - lasers are more or less damage dealing up to twice their listed range. ALMOST twice.
ballistics same except they do go double range with a little damage.
LRMs, SRMs and Streaks only do damage to their listed range.

Modules (lots of cbills to a new player) are very expensive. Spend GXP to unlock them, then CBills (game money) to buy them. they can extend the range of a weapon and increase the rate of fire (cooldown).

looking forward to getting you on comms and walking you through parts in the game to help you understand how things work
